Samanvay is not a one-night event. Sri Rajarajeshwari Kalaniketan turns fifty in 2026 — an ecosystem institution combining pedagogy, repertory development, academic credentialing and public performance under a single continuous artistic direction. Fifty years of training (300+ students through the BFA and Diploma pathways), the Samanvay performance company, Dr Veena Murthy Vijay’s published scholarship, and the Sadhana Foundation — one continuous institution, founded by PNS Murthy in 1976.

Classical dance is not a museum piece, it is a living language. It must grow with society while staying rooted in its grammar.
